Hello everyone, Voxel here again.
As you’ve probably noticed, progress has all but stopped, the indicator on Slime Reader wasn’t wrong. We had, however, finished half of the volume, so to make sure it didn’t go to waste, we’ve filled the remaining gaps (mainly chapters 3 and 4) with machine translations from the website DeepL. We then got help from CharVANder, who you may already know from her own “Fixed DeepL” releases of later volumes, some of which we’ve already collaborated on. She fixed up the rest of the volume; you can thank her for making this release finally possible.

Going Forward
Translators and editors are hard to come by, and working on a whole novel is a lot of work, especially with each volume getting longer than the last. So, going forward, we’ll continue collaborating with CharVANder to make the most out of DeepL’s translation engine. With that, you can expect very fast releases going forward, as we will be keeping pace with Japanese releases.
More polished releases like we’ve been striving for in the past are sadly too much work for the current team, so please support the official releases for something more professional from now on.

Rather than read MTL I’d rather buy the official translation – Vol 13 is scheduled for April 5 (delayed from March 22). I’ve already waited almost a year, I can wait another two weeks.

All good things must come to an end, unfortunately. Didn’t have much of a choice after all 3 translators burnt out. Had to cut our losses eventually and just release what we got. You can still enjoy half of the volume, if you like cliffhangers lol.

Is it possible to help with editing/proofing??? I can’t read Japanese but I’ve noticed a bunch of spelling mistakes/turns of phrase that aren’t quite right while reading through Vol 13 for pleasure. I’d be more than happy to provide some help proofing and only making changes where it’s clear what was intended.

Yeah, I find it sad to, but the did and did a great Job, I readed all the later Volumes wich where translite Witz an Website. Its different than the real translation, but bester than knothing. Simone shoud not critisize others without knowing how mich effort it takes.

Right, instead of reading MTL I’ll just wait for the official, anybody can MTL and no matter how edited it is its still MTL.

Sad to hear the wonderful translation team getting burnt out, but it happens. Just to make sure, will you be going over DeepL’s translations and correcting punctuation and stuff before releasing? I’ve read a few DeepL translations in the past, and while “Mediocre Clown Gang” is a hilarious term, it’s not at all accurate.

I think MTL is fine as there are many MTL translators out there who can make a novel as coherent as possible. At least the terms and names should stay consistent like the past volumes while fixing grammatical and punctuation errors. I’ve read the original DeepL translation before and it’s irritating to see pronouns getting mixed up because you don’t know who is who. Anyway, a big thank you to the team for all the work until now. ❤ Good luck in your future endeavors

Thank you for all of your hard works! I’ve been reading since volume 6 (due to official release being slow af lmao) and I’ve enjoyed every volumes you released! Any news on vol 14 and 15 ? its painfull that 2 missing vol’s are whats preventing me from reading all the way to vol 19, Pain, THE PAIN AND SUFFERING.

Volume 15 has been sitting on 99 percent for over a month now, I don’t mean to sound ungrateful since I appreciate the work you do but I know the translation has already been submitted, formatting really shouldn’t take more than a month, please get a move on with the final stretch of whatever it is you guys need to do

It seems like Volume 14 has just been published on MEGA. One note to mention is that although Insert images at the beginning are included in EPUB file itself they are not visible for me while reading.
